Review of 321- Portrait of a businessperson

So the assignment was to make a portrait of a businessperson that expressed theiroccupation/interest. I chose to shoot my father, who happens to be the Associate VP of facilities at OU. Generally he’s an architect that went into managing buildings. So i wanted to keep with the clean precise feeling of an architect while showing […]

Review of Vico 321- Blinko Still Life

If you get to know me well, you’ll learn that my family is nuts when it comes to our Blinko glass collection. We love the stuff and I love shooting it since it’s clean like glass but has a handblown texture to it. This is my first project of 321 and my first project shot […]

Review of 321- Carrot Chase

The idea was to shoot an abstract concept. I chose exercise bulimia because of an upcoming viscom project called “Dawn to Dusk”, a day long shooting event. Well, the project didn’t work out for me, but I continued with the idea. I chose to just use the iconic image of an animal chasing a carrot and use Ian’s […]

An eggstraordinarily large pain in the ass.

So these are the final project shots for my photo illustration class. I chose to do eggs based on the old adage “you’re a good photographer if you can make an egg look compelling” as a sort of self assessment of my progress. In true fashion, I bit off more than I could chew and […]
